KipTeiTei Reading Tracker: Save Your Comic Progress

Keep separate reading positions for One Serving Choice and No Lunch Break without creating an account. This unofficial KipTeiTei reading tracker remembers the last page you read in this browser, stores optional bookmark notes and helps you return to an official source when an exact link is known.

How to save your reading position

Choose your comic first. Enter the last page you have finished, not the page you intend to open next, and select “Mark as read through this page.” Page zero means you have not started. A saved position applies only to the selected comic: changing No Lunch Break does not replace your One Serving Choice record. Return using the same browser profile and website address to continue with that saved position.

The next-page control uses a verified exact URL from the companion’s index. If a URL has not been entered for that page, the tracker says so instead of generating a plausible-looking address. Use the Page Finder to inspect coverage, nearby indexed pages and the official gallery. A saved reading position can be valid even when its direct source URL is not indexed.

A worked example: page 412 at eight pages a day

Suppose you have finished One Serving Choice page 412 and plan to read eight pages a day. Enter 412 and set your pace to 8. Against the supplied latest-known value of 785, there are 373 pages remaining, which requires 47 reading days when rounded up. This is arithmetic using an assumed fixed target, not a promised publication date, a statement that every page URL is indexed or a prediction of future creator updates.

Change the values to match your own reading rather than accepting the example as your history. The Catch-Up Calculator provides a separate planning page for comparing pace and endpoints. No Lunch Break’s total is unknown in the supplied records, so its tracker does not display a fabricated completion percentage or finish estimate. You can still save a numbered position and add bookmarks.

    Bookmarks, notes and resets

Expand “Bookmarks and backup” to save a page with an optional short note. Notes are plain text and may contain details you consider private, so avoid recording passwords or personal information. You can remove an individual bookmark without resetting the entire comic. Resetting a series asks for confirmation because it clears that series’ position and bookmarks; choosing the cancel option keeps your existing record.

Before deliberately resetting, changing devices or clearing browser data, create a backup through Progress Backup and Restore. Merge keeps the further position and combines bookmarks; replace uses the validated imported state after your confirmation. Review the preview before either action, especially when the backup was made on another device.

What happens when browser storage is blocked?

The warning at the top of the tracker explains that progress then exists on this page only. It cannot survive a reload or navigation to a different page. Use the download button directly in that warning before leaving; do not navigate to the separate backup page first. The downloaded JSON includes your current page and pace, even in this restricted mode. A browser may show an unload warning, but browsers can suppress that dialog, so downloading is the reliable recovery step.

Normal saved progress stays local too. It is not synchronized to an account, sent to a progress API or included in a contact message. Private browsing, changing the site’s origin or clearing browser storage can remove it. The Cookie and Storage Policy explains the browser keys and retention choices; the Privacy Policy describes the separate contact and optional analytics settings.

    Official sources, spoilers and verification

This website is a reading companion, not a comic mirror. Artwork stays on the creator’s destinations. Links to official mature sources are labeled and open a click-triggered notice before you continue. That acknowledgement is stored separately and is not included in a progress backup. Reading positions and neutral tool instructions avoid story summaries, but notes you write are your own responsibility.

For publication chronology, use Reading Order; for dated index additions, use Latest Updates. Records can be incomplete or out of date. Send a correction through Contact with an exact source URL and what should change. The Editorial Policy explains why unknown URLs, totals and unreviewed character facts stay unknown instead of being filled with guesses.
