KipTeiTei Characters: Cast Explorer by Series

Browse reviewed cast entries by series when they are available. The directory stays empty until adult status, a neutral summary and a verification date have all been checked.

Reviewed cast information is not available yet. Only characters confirmed adult in the listed story are shown. Use the series guides or official sources meanwhile.

How to use Character Explorer

Choose a series, then narrow any available entries by role or a name search. A published card is intended to contain only a name, series, role, first-appearance page when known and a short neutral summary reviewed by the site owner. No portrait or comic artwork is shown.

The explorer may show an empty state until entries satisfy the publication rules. That is intentional. Seed names alone are not enough to establish a safe, accurate character listing, and a plausible-sounding biography must never be written from memory.

If a first-appearance page is blank, the page has not been verified. The filter should not invent a page number or link. Use the Page Finder for an indexed page, or return to the series guide for source context.

Why this directory is deliberately limited

Character entries are published only when the character is confirmed to be an adult within the story at the point represented. If age or timeline is uncertain, the entry stays private. The rule excludes school-age characters and earlier-timeline material rather than asking visitors to infer context.

Every summary must be reviewed, neutral and between 25 and 80 words, with a verification date. The project lists no relationships in its initial release because no reviewed relationship data was supplied. There are no images, speculative tags or plot descriptions.

Names in the original project seed are leads for an editor, not publishable profiles. A name does not establish a role, age, appearance, relationship or biography. Public visibility requires an explicit review and adult confirmation.

How summaries are written and checked

The purpose of a summary is identification, not interpretation. It should use simple language to state a confirmed role and a limited amount of non-spoiler context. It should avoid sexual descriptions, bodies, fetishes, suggestive tags and details that would turn a utility into an encyclopedia.

An editor records the date of verification and the official context checked. If information changes or a correction arrives, the summary is reviewed before it is revised. A neutral wording does not remove uncertainty: if a point cannot be established, it is left out.

The site does not reproduce text from a community wiki or quote comic dialogue. It is an independent fan tool and should cite official destinations for source context without claiming to speak for the creator.

Privacy and search within the explorer

Filtering and text search are ways to navigate the public entries on the page. They are not a visitor profile and do not write a search history to an account. The site does not offer accounts or store reader character preferences on a server.

Tracker progress is separate and remains local to your browser. If you choose to save reading progress, see the Cookie & Storage Policy. You can use the explorer without entering progress or opening any official links.

An empty directory is not a technical error if no profiles have passed review. It is safer to show that the editor has not yet published eligible entries than to expose an unverified cast list.

A spoiler-conscious way to browse

Use the series and role filters to reduce a list before searching. A first-appearance page can be a spoiler for some readers, so the interface should label the field plainly and let a visitor decide whether to reveal it.

Summary text stays short, factual and non-explicit. It does not retell an arc, explain a relationship or summarize a sequence of events. If an entry cannot meet those limits while still being useful, it should remain unpublished.

For a page-by-page reading task, the Page Finder is a better fit. For publication history, use Reading Order. Character Explorer is not the only route to the series and never becomes a requirement to follow a story.

Filters should work by keyboard, announce result changes without moving focus unexpectedly and preserve a helpful empty state. Search matches public name and role text only; it is not a visitor profile. A person should be able to clear a filter and return to all eligible entries with one obvious action.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there no character cards?

Entries appear only after the editor confirms adult status at the relevant point, reviews a neutral 25–80-word summary and records a verification date. Seed names alone do not meet those standards.

Will the explorer show artwork?

No. The site does not host, embed, hotlink or thumbnail artwork. The directory is text-only.

Can I request a correction?

Yes. Use the contact route with the entry name and a source the editor can check. A suggestion is reviewed before any public change.

Public entries must pass the adult-in-story, reviewed-summary and last-verified requirements. Names supplied for future review do not appear automatically in this directory.
